In 2021, Persian Ave owner Adel Hemyari began working in a Persian rug store and developed a deep appreciation for this enduring art form. Learning about nomadic weaving revealed the skill, time, and tradition behind every rug—each one shaped by generations of craftsmanship, distinctive motifs, and beautifully imperfect character.
As Adel learned more about Persian and Oriental rug making, he saw the skill, time, and tradition woven into every handwoven piece.
Persian Ave was created to honor that work—and to offer an alternative to mass-produced machine-made and printed rugs that imitate original Persian designs.
